On September 1st, 2022, applications for all Alabama canna license types will become available, applicants can begin submitting applications on October 31st. Applications for all facility types must be submitted by December 30th, 2022. The program allows for a limited number of integrated facilities (5) as well as Individual activity licenses for which license limitations are listed below.
Integrated Facility licenses require that licenses engage in the cultivation, processing, and dispensing of Alabama canna products and allow for a total of 5 dispensary locations. Individual activity licenses cannot engage any other licensed activity however Individual Medical Canna Dispensary licenses will allow for 3 locations. The AMCC will begin issuing licenses in June of 2023.
